**CIVIL SOCIETY COALITION LAUNCHES INDEPENDENT COMPLAINT PLATFORM 'MBG WATCH'**
Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - In response to the growing concerns over the Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) program, a coalition of civil society organizations has launched an independent complaint platform called "MBG Watch". This online platform aims to provide a safe and transparent space for citizens to report any irregularities or issues related to the MBG program.
MBG Watch is a collaborative effort between several organizations, including CELIOS, Unitrend, Transparency International Indonesia, Lapor Sehat, LBH Jakarta, and Bareng Warga. The coalition was formed in response to the pressing need for greater public oversight of the MBG program, which has been plagued by allegations of corruption and irregularities.
According to the MBG Watch press statement, the platform was created to provide a space for citizens to report any issues related to the MBG program, including cases of food contamination or other forms of maladministration. The platform can be accessed through various channels, including a dedicated website (https://mbgwatch.org), WhatsApp chatbot (https://wa.me/6281122225157), and a complaint form (https://mbgwatch.org/form).
In addition to MBG Watch, the Ministry of Health has also set up a hotline for reporting cases of food poisoning related to the MBG program. The ministry's official Instagram account has posted the contact numbers for those who have experienced symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or dizziness after consuming MBG.
The ministry emphasized that any complaints will be immediately handled by the Public Safety Center (PSC). Citizens can also report their concerns through the hotline number 0877777591097.
